Texas State University Chief of Police Ralph C. Meyer was recently honored by receiving the Bill G. Daniels Outstanding Administrator Award. The award is presented annually by The Texas Association of College and University Police Administrators (TACUPA).
The Bill G. Daniels Award for Outstanding Administrator was established to recognize a Chief Officer of a member institution who has made outstanding contributions to the development of campus policing as a valid career choice in law enforcement at the management level.
Chief Meyer has dedicated over 44 years to law enforcement and is especially capable in fostering an environment of community policing and encouraging working partnerships with the university community and the City of San Marcos and surrounding areas.
