Public Records
The Police Records Department processes and maintains all police reports including:
- arrests
- accidents
- offense / incident reports
- case files
Hours
8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Monday - Friday (except approved university holidays and spring break)
Responsibilities
The records are maintained by the Administrative Assistant, whose primary duties are data entry and filing of incoming police reports.
Other responsibilities include:

- develop Uniform Crime Reporting (UCR) monthly for the Department of Public Safety in Austin, Texas
- respond to all open records requests.

Accident Reports
You may request a copy of your accident report by stopping by University Police Department during normal business hours. You must have a picture ID. The cost is $5.00 (cash, check or money order).
