Our new Chief of Police will be a highly visible member of the senior leadership of the university, and will uphold the highest ideals of transparency, respect, integrity, inclusion, and innovation. The Chief will routinely interact with community members, organizations, and institutions across the region, state, and nation.

The Chief of Police reports directly to the Vice President for Finance Support Services and works closely with the University Police Department staff, campus constituents, and the local community to promote a safe and secure environment for Texas State University.
