Engaging our Community

UPD is excited to engage with the Bobcat Community. Chances are, you will run into one of our officers on campus— we enjoy meeting you and hearing about your goals and dreams as a Texas State student. We're also coming to you at different university events throughout the semester, and we invite you to join us for a cup of coffee or some fresh popped popcorn. You never know what we're brewing up, so pop in to see us!

Prioritizing Your Safety

UPD offers the Texas State University community a variety of safety training classes.

These classes range from standard response protocol procedures and personal safety presentations, to identity theft training.

Focusing on Connection

Chief Matt  hosts a monthly "Chat with the Chief" for our Bobcat parents.  This is a good opportunity for parents to hear about safety on campus and an opportunity to meet with their student's police chief directly.

Sincerely,

Chief Matt
